It means he has the capability of giving good suggestions with faithfulness-
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was once going to somewhere along with some companions.One of them asked: how can we conquer Syria while it is under Roman rule? The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) put the stick that he had in his hand on the shoulder of Muʿāwiyah and said: Muʿāwiyah is sufficient for you۔
While supplicating, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said to Muʿāwiyah: O Allah, make him a guiding one, and guide (others) by him۔

Good dealings with sister-in-law
Sayyidah ʿĀ’ishah (rz) narrated:Once Hālah Bint Khuwaylid, Khadījah’s sister, asked the permission of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) to enter. On that, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) remembered Khadījah, and that moved him Sayyidah Khadījah (rz) was the first wife of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and she died in his lifetime-
It indicates that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would behave honourably with the sister-in-law even after Khadījah had died-
Zaynab Bint Jaḥash was one of the wives of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). Looking after stepchidren
The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) got married with Umm Salamah. She had children (namely ʿAmr Ibn Abī Salamah and Zaynab). The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) looked after them and brought them up. They were also in-laws. Hence, many narrations are narrated about their upbringing in the books of Ḥadīth-
Abū Ṭalḥah (rz) got married with the mother of Anas (rz). Abū Ṭalḥah managed to bring his stepson up. Good dealings with common in-laws
The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was informed that Ḥārith Ibn Ḍirār, the chief of Banū Muṣṭaliq, was preparing to attack Muslims. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) went along with a group of Muslims and attacked them while they were unexpected to bear the attack. The Muslim forces were victorious and gained huge war booties. Among the many captives was Juwayriyah, the daughter of Ḥārith Ibn Ḍirār. She came as salve-girl in the possession of Thābit ibn Qays.
Juwayriyah sought a deed of redemption from the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).After that she went to Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) for help. Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam asked her that would you agree , that I will give redemption money on your behalf and will marry you and she agreed, so as a result, freed her from the bondage of Thābit ibn Qays and consequently he got married with her. When the companions of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) came to know of the marriage of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) with Juwayriyah, they freed all her captured tribe considering that they are the in-laws of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam-
